That is fantastic! I am looking to do something similar. Thanks for the tips. Question: How long and what temp do you bake your bowl cakes? I did it once and just guessed. I think I left the same temp as directed on the box, but baked it for over an hour. Any recommendations? Again, fab job! Very cute and I love the simplicity of it!

Hey, I goggled Mickey Mouse cake and found yours and WOW! Awesome. I attempted my own…you can check it out on my blog. Mine is a little smaller and not proportional but it works. I didn’t have a bowl cake pan so I used a glass pyrex bowl instead! Thanks for the inspiration.

I am a photographer too but we just moved so I’m just starting to get back into it. I will be back to visit your blog… so many fun things to look at.

I am having trouble finding a bowl cake pan. Can you give me the dimensions of it & maybe I can improvise with something else? I need to make it by Oct. 3rd.

Okay, phew. I thought that first picture of the antenna ball WAS the cake, and I nearly keeled over. Then I scrolled down, and thank heavens, because that is the cutest cake I have ever seen. Your creativity knows no bounds! I swoon!

Boy, you and Robyn make amazing cakes. She just made a black one too,because Grayson wanted a hockey puck. Not too inventive but then she put the Black Hawk insignia on it and wow. I love that yours is upright I think everyone would have expected it to be flat, and I’m amazed that you were able to keep the ears up there. Very inventive, I bet Beck loved it. He should have gotten one of the ears for his cake. LM
