Seriously, you do. You know you do.
Everyone is guilty of judging a book by it’s cover now and again.
You know how when you’re sitting in your car, say, at a stop sign or in a parking lot, and someone is walking towards you? It looks like they are headed right for you, and so you watch them approach, trying to assess whether or not they are dangerous.
And then there are the times that you think, Yeah, that guy looks creepy and your finger is itching to hit the locks on your car door.
But, what if he hears it?
He will be offended! The psychopath will be offended!
Then you think, ‘He could just be a really nice person that looks a bit crazy. Maybe I better not hit the locks. I shouldn’t judge him because of his appearance.’
But that feeling deep down in your gut says, Stranger Danger! Lock the doors!
Well.
At approximately 10:30 am in the parking lot of Lowe’s, Bountiful Utah, an old man in a car who was parked next to my truck saw me approaching, looked at me out of the corner of his eye, hesitated, and then, just as I was almost to his car, CLICK.
Me.

Good for that old man. I do it all the time and I don’t care who hears the click. I don’t trust anyone I don’t know. I’m sure it was nothing personal, it’s just the crazy world we live in.

I don’t even believe it. An old man locking YOU out??? He was scared you would try and help him across the street I guess. Weird. People are so strange. I just lock the doors anytime I stop and sit in the car for any period of time.
