PHEW!
I’m so glad it’s Sunday tomorrow. I am planning on spending most of it in my pajamas.
I’ve been getting ready to try and peddle jewelry at boutiques for the past few weeks, and this weekend marks the end of one of the big shows. Next weekend is the last one, and it’s a doozy! Four whole days starting on Wednesday. Here’s a link in case anyone wants to come and do a little Christmas shopping. It’s going to be awesome. So much handmade goodness in one place! Come and keep me company, won’t you? Please? But don’t come on Thursday night because I’ll be…ahem…seeing this one movie. You’ve probably not heard anything about it, but anyway, that’s where I’ll be.
Don’t hate me. Please try not to let it taint your opinion of me. I got involved long ago, and it’s too late for me now. I’m in too deep.
Did anyone notice that it’s been SEVEN days since I last posted?
Anyone? Anyone?
Since I last posted I have:
Gotten a speeding ticket.
Been in the emergency room.
Cut my hair.
Parent teacher conferences.
Had an epiphany.
Made a friend.
Heard my oldest son tell his younger brother who had just said a bad word that he “takes after his mother’.
All of which would have been things to post about. Good ones too! I might come back to one of those, but for now, I will tell you about something silly that I am seriously considering. This weekend, when I was carting stuff to and from this boutique, I used a little vintage travel case that’s been in my house as a decoration. But, I used it to carry tools, and papers and other things I thought I might need.

It was so handy, and nothing got squished! It’s roomy and everything was at my fingertips. So, I’m thinking about making it my new purse. Plus, it served as a foot stool. My purse can’t do that.

I’ve missed your posts… and SISTA… I TOTALLY had a little suitcase like that… except it was MY DAD’S MOTHERS!! VINTAGE! It’s awesome! I love it and it is totally cool! Good luck peddling your wears… and I expect a movie review… why not! Love ya!

I have missed reading your posts. You always brighten my day. I am glad to know that you are still alive and kicking. I love the the old suitcase. I have one from New York that was my great grandmas, nothing like yours. I store my paints in it. I think it would make a great purse.
I have missed your posts! I thought that you had kicked the bucket and that I was the last to know…not really. We’ve been dealing with the swine flu and a puppy and friends from Alaska. Sorry, I’m a little distracted. BUT, I’m going to try and come to your show, it looks sweet. And what are we going to do before the show??? If you can get out a little early before the show we all should do dinner. Sorry for the novel.
I have one just like it! That I actually bought at a little fall craft event some ladies down the street put on – however, mine’s been all dolled up on the outside, ribbons, new paints, polka dots, cute sayings. I love it – just wondering what I should use it for…
I have used my purse for a pillow before, but never a footstool!

You’ll have to post how the show goes. I did that show way back when. It has blossomed over these years. I’ve heard it is fabulous.
Didn’t know you were missing, cause I’ve been missing. Certainly knew about your hospital visit and you were in our prayers. Let us know how that test turned out ( at least me personally). I’m greatful to have a tiny bit of strength to even check your site, cause you know what I’m going through. Don’t take kids comments too seriously, he adores you and you know it, they all do. We had the introduce “talk” and you were right, they just roll their eyes. Jake actually asked if we really had to talk about this stuff. Funny. Love the new purse. We had a little blue one growing up, my mom called me just to remind me about it. Enjoy the movie.
